With the holiday season not far off, GoPro is expanding its POV camera line up. Their latest offering is the HERO+ ($199), which slots between the entry level HERO ($129) and the HERO + LCD ($299).

Like its more expensive counterparts, the HERO+ has both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, but ditches the touch sensitive LCD to keep cost down. It also shares the same internals as the pricier HERO+ LCD, meaning it’s capable of shooting 1080p at 60fps and 8mp stills. It is also waterproof down to 131 feet.

Users will be able to connect to GoPro’s impressive smartphone app, which acts as a remote control and allows previews of video footage and photos. You can also share content directly to social sites such as Facebook and Instagram.

Price of the HERO4 Session has been cut by $100.

The Session shares the same internals as the HERO4 Silver, but pares down the controls to make it the smallest and most versatile GoPro to date. The brand also announced that it’s reducing the price of the pint-sized HERO Session from $400 to $300.

Availability is set for early October.
