First Look: TriggerPoint GRID, GRID STK and NANO Foot Roller

TriggerPoint GRID and GRID X Foam Rollers

As we stay active with our bodies, managing pain and discomfort seems to be a part of the territory. Whether it’s a ‘good’ tired sore or an injury, we all have to deal with these issues after a ride so we can go out next weekend and do it again.

Yoga and stretching seem like key routines to increase flexibility and improve circulation and healing, but we’ve also discovered a few tools like the TriggerPoint products which help us repair and recover.

We’ve noticed that a few top athletes travel with their TriggerPoint Foam Roller (and other devices) to help them stretch and work out the kinks in their bodies. We’ve used the GRID Foam Roller ourselves and have achieved good results. A few minutes a day is the key and filling in idle time (for example, like watching TV) help the body recover during the times when we’re not on the bike.

Here are few of TriggerPoint’s new product offerings. One of the key additions is a new black foam they call ‘X’ compound. It is a bit harder than their traditional orange foam and is for advanced use.

TriggerPoint NANO Foot Roller

Foot pain is part of the cyclists’ territory with long hours and lots of impact on hard-soled shoes. The TriggerPoint NANO Foot Roller is here to the rescue with the soft orange foam or the harder black ‘X’ foam available for $25.

TriggerPoint Grid STK Foam Roller

The GRID STK Foam Roller will help you reach remote areas of your back, while the small T-Roller can give you convenient and portable relief. The STK is available for $35 and the T-Roller for $20.
