Piggybacking on expertise gained in the snow sports arena, Smith Optics has gotten into the mountain bike goggles game with the Squad MTB. The biggest feature? Price. These eye protectors will set you back just $60.

They’re also designed to maximize field of vision — and not fog up. Taking advice from its sponsored athletes, Smith eliminated traditional vent foam and instead uses a lattice material that allows perspiration and heat to escape instead of fogging up the lens. Smith also uses an absorbent face foam, which is designed to help suck up moisture.

Available in 12 frame colors, including the pictured Semenuk ID, which was designed in part by freeride superstar Brandon Semenuk.

The Smith Squad MTB goggles come with a premium-mirrored lens installed, plus a spare clear lens for low-light rides. The Squad is available in 12 frame colors, including the pictured Semenuk ID, which was designed in part by freeride superstar Brandon Semenuk.
