Mtbr met up with Jeff Soncrant who eagerly showed us his latest creation, the Haste. Featuring 160mm of rear travel and 27.5 wheels, the Haste aims to separate itself from the field with a suspension that is more active. It utilizes a four-bar linkage with floating top and bottom shock mounts to provide improved and unrestricted suspension action. The other notable design feature is the rear brake, which allows the suspension to move even under full braking force.

The company utilizes a consumer-direct sales model, allowing the buyer to choose component configuration. Frame price is $2799. Complete bikes start at $4999. Mtbr will be testing this bike soon.
