Danny MacAskill does Reddit AMA
Arguably the world’s most famous cyclist is helping bring the sport to the masses — and cows.
Reddit is a social news aggregator that works on the same premise as a bulletin board. It is also one of most highly trafficked websites in the world. This week, Danny MacAskill hosted an AMA (short for Ask Me Anything) to promote his epic new riding video.
While Danny MacAskill is a household name in the mountain bike community, it’s amazing to dive into this thread and see how many non-bikers are inspired by him.
What’s surprising is that his thread isn’t buried on some sub-page — it’s on the homepage, which receives over 500 million monthly visitors. Among the most interesting unveils, MacAskill says, “Three hundred attempts at one trick can be quite normal.” Nice work, Danny.
