Bogus to the Barrel – the best Idaho bike race you never heard of

Bogus to the Barrel is a cross-country mountain bike race pitting some of the best cross country and trail mountain bikers against a gruesome downhill trail starting at Bogus Basin and ending up right next to the downtown 10 Barrel Location -get it? – Bogus to the Barrel! In true 10 Barrel fashion – there will be a finish line party with games, live music, and plenty of beer to celebrate your victory or comfort you in the loss.
Riders must be age 21+.
Scenic views and lots of hard packed rippin’.
Bogus to the Barrel has 150 open racing spots, which will go quickly, so make sure to register while there’s still an opening – you can sign up here. There is an equal prize purse for men and women riders and additional prizes will be awarded for costume contests, chugging contests and “Best Fan Squad”, so bring your costumes and best dance moves!
Modern racing is a war but always remember your chamois.
If you don’t do it for the thrill of the fight – do it for the trails, 100% of the proceeds from registration and a portion of beer sales will go to Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area.

Raffle for Southwest Idaho Mountain Biking Association
McU sports and 10 Barrel will be holding a charity raffle for a 2019 Kona HEI HEI mountain bike. Every volunteer and rider in the race will receive one entry into the raffle. Additional entries will be sold at McU sports, 10 Barrel, and our other sponsor’s storefronts for the race (George’s Cycles, Boise Gear Collective, Formula Sports, Eagle Bike shop & Bogus Basin.) Raffle tickets will be $5 and all proceeds will be donated to the Southwest Idaho Mountain Biking Association ( SWIMBA ).
Views over the Ridge road are breathtaking.
