9Point8 and Wolf Tooth collaborate on Digit dropper lever
Last year at Interbike, we gushed over the new ReMote dropper lever from Wolf Tooth. This aftermarket unit operates on the same principle as a quality paddle shifter, but is unique in that it spins on a giant sealed cartridge bearing for smoother actuation. This mechanism sits on a plastic axle pivot, which can break away in the case of a crash.
At launch, it was compatible with a number of mechanical dropper posts, including the 9Point8 Fall Line. But to make this lever work even better with their posts, 9Point8 has collaborated on a new version called the Digit.
The Digit lever shares the same features as the Wolf Tooth ReMote, but the lever geometry and leverage ratios have been specifically designed for the Fall Line. The lever has also been reconfigured for a lower profile.
The new Digit lever is available from 9Point8 for $70. The lever will also be available as an upgrade with any new 9Point8 DropLoc seatpost for an additional $18.
