5 best new ways to use the Mtbr Free Classifieds
Now you can sell your used bikes and gear for free on Mtbr.com. After years of charging a nominal $2 fee, placing a classified ad on our site is now 100% free. You need only be a registered Mtbr.com member. We have also improved the overall user experience, making a host of key formatting changes, simplifying categories, and increasing the maximum file size limit for uploaded images from 2MB to 5MB. We’ve also improved the mobile user experience, but if you prefer a normal desktop view, scroll to the bottom of the page and you can select that option. To see it all for yourself, head over to the Mtbr.com classifieds section now and check it out. Also, Road Bike and Cyclocross Bike categories have been added so no more having to go over to RoadBikeReview for these categories.

Additionally we have reformatted the popular Latest Ads page so that it’s easier to read and more accessible for mobile users. You can see that page (previously known as the Daily Market) here. Of course we still offer the option for Wanted Ads, so if you’re looking for a specific bike or gear, registered users can post those ads here.
Finally, we have added a new Classifieds forum section, so that Mtbr.com members can post ads to the Classified section and Classifieds forum. This is also a great place to post Job Listings. It’s also worth noting that we are now allowing users to post Classifieds in one best-fit for the Topic Discussion forum thread, Regional Discussion forums, or Manufacturers forums. But remember, only post per user. If we find that forums are getting overrun with Classified ads, we reserve the right to change this policy. 1.) Post Ads
It’s free but does require a forum/classified user account. Bikes, parts, gear and more.

2.) Latest Ads
Check this page often for first crack at the latest ads (updated every 15 minutes).

3.) Advanced Classifieds Search
Be sure to use Advanced Search for search options and best results.
Click on the seller’s name to see if they are also an active Mtbr forum member and how long they’ve been on our site.
The Advanced Search offers ways to customize your search to give you the results you are looking for.
4.) User Profile
Find out who you’re buying from by checking their profile, seeing their other ads and forum posts.
Click on the username within any ad to see that users Forum profile.
5.) Classifieds Forum
For users who don’t want to leave the forum environment, we have a forum for free-form posting of ads too.
The new Classifieds Forum is available for users that want to get exposure with our large forum community. This is also a good place to post Job Listings.
