Plenty of riders chose to avoid the Enduro race course and instead seek the thrill and sense of adventure in a more free and exploratory style. These guys find the most rugged terrain in the most remote part of the world. They also appreciate the total experience of MTB, including time off the bike. This film shows Mavic’s vision and understanding of these riders and the way they play on terrain of all types.

During the SRAM Trailhouse event, late March, Moab, Utah, we had the opportunity to ride some pretty amazing equipment. Absolute top shelf frames, kitted out with the best components available. We recently received a gallery of gorgeous photos of the test bikes ridden in Moab. Looking at these shots, and remembering the unreal landscapes from Utah, it was really hard for us NOT to fall in love with the bikes. This is why we decided to put up a few articles with some of the finest mountain bikes you will see this summer. Not a lot of words here, just bike porn. Drool worthy and intended to get your heart rate up.

Racing is a cruel mistress, and top level racers spend their lives on that fine line between giving it 100%, and going too far! Crashes are inevitable, most of the time you get up and dust yourself off, high five your mates and tell the tale over a beer, but sometimes you are not so lucky! We have all felt those first few seconds where you wait for the pain, out of breath and flooded with adrenalin, as it fades sometimes your body tells you that it is broken, and everything changes!
