Photos: Final Day, Crested Butte Ultra Enduro
A lot of words can be used to describe the five day Ultra Enduro in Crested Butte, Colorado. Awesome. Difficult. Beautiful. Challenging. Ask any racer and you will probably hear more descriptors. One that comes to my mind is “Inspiring.” Racers pushed themselves to the limit, but always came back to the race village tired and happy.

Video: Ici C’est Bien Episode #2 – Slovenia: Julian Alps
Just like any other trip, my choice of destination is very important, seeking that fine balance between my abilities, level, landscapes, and expectations.
Slovenia and the Julian Alps seemed relatively unknown and little explored by mountain bikes, especially in its high altitudes. Yet it´s an extraordinary place, this land is unique, translucent rivers travel the country, the people are hospitable to perfection, fauna and flora is well developed and maintained. I knew that I needed to explore the area and find out more, so it was time to make a trip to film an episode of “ici c’est bien”!.
Final Overall Standings, Crested Butte Ultra Enduro
We’ll have a much larger photo gallery tomorrow (Monday), but for now, here are the final overall standings of the Big Mountain Enduro, Crested Butte Ultra Enduro. It was a fantastic 5 days of mountain biking on some of the best trails Colorado has to offer, in one of the birthplaces of the sport.

The penultimate day for Crested Butte Ultra Enduro was one stage only, the Green Lake trail. A slightly easier day, in preparation for a big final day, which will happen at Evolution Bike Park, Crested Butte resort.
