The Review | Joystick Analog Carbon Bars
We’ve had a set of these Joystick Analog 35 Carbon bars on test for a while now along with their matching and very beautifully machined 50mm Digger stem (previous test here) They have been fitted to UK Editor and hard riding racer Jim Buchanan’s test rigs for several months now and have ended up receiving top marks for their performance.
The oversized 35mm version (31.8mm also available) of these fantastic looking bars have served their time well over the winter. Their fit to the open front of the Digger stem is spot on, with use of the clever fitting marks all around the stem for precise OCD equidistance. The Analog carbon is molded in custom molds with reinforcement added around the clamping points to make for a very solid feel to the bars with great vibration damping.
Fitted to their specific Builder stem we think this is one hot looking bit of kit that feels very strong and comfortable. Our test rider has used these on multiple uplift days and races over the winter and after reducing their length to a more enduro-friendly 780mm now feels at one with their rise and sweep, opting to use them for racing during 2015; he’s that impressed!
