8 seperate bulbs, gives it that stadium light look Think R8 and you instantly think about that beast of an Audi; high end, top notch German design and engineering, sleek looks, highly reliable, with one hell of a power plant behind it. Well replace the word German with British and you have the perfect description for Hope’s new 2200 (3000 generated) lumens 8 x Cree XP-G2 LED light.

There is nothing better than being part of something, no matter if it is a full factory team resplendent with liveried trucks and E-Z ups, or simply a group of mates propping up the back end of the enduro field, being in a team is cool! But to be part of a team you need one crucial thing, custom jerseys! The MADmtb crew in Sauze. I first chanced upon RSD Sports Jerseys when we looked after the legendary Irish guys from the Dublin based club MADmtb, racing the Sauze d’Oulx SuperEnduro. Not only did they manage to get some great results and show the locals how it is done in the bars, but they also had some really nice custom Jerseys. Sharp printing and bright colours define the RSD shirts! The new ‘enduro’ sleeves are comfortable and perfect for racing! Most companies require either really big orders or are prohibitively expensive for short runs, but RSD offer their long sleeve dye sublimated jerseys in any order size, and you can have full input into the design. Karl Dillon at RSD will work with you along the way to ensure that your design ideas come through in the final product. A great fit and durable Its always nice to have your name on something! We have found the jerseys perfect for enduro, made out of a lightweight slightly perforated fabric they seem tough enough to shrug of the knocks and our team strip is still looking great after a long and tough season. RSD Sports use a process of dye sublimation to achieve spectacular results with intense colours and crisp clear graphics, and after many washes the kit still looks brand new. RSD will help you with your designs! Karl has been working with Enduro racers to develop a slightly revised design with a new ‘enduro specific’ slimmer fitting sleeve which fits really nicely. The material has a slight stretch to it and is very comfortable over long days! If you are looking for some custom jerseys for your club, RSD Sports will be able to help. For more information pop Karl an email at RSD Sports.

The plan: to experience the status quo of the Fox enduro forks, enriched throughout the season with experience and feedback from riders like Jared Graves (Yeti) and Nico Lau (Cube).

I’m very lucky to get to test all these different bikes out for our mag; different weights, materials, wheel sizes and designs, but I have to admit, after seeing the first promotional video of this bike, I was really excited about the prospect of testing it. Intense has always been a bit of a dream bike of mine, stemming back to the old-skool days of DH, when the M1 came out and just seemed years ahead of it’s time. I never got to own or even have a go on one in those older days, much to my dismay. Earlier this year I tried out the Spider 29 carbon, but as this was a shop test bike, it came with poxy xc rims and tyres, so wasn’t really a true test of it’s ability and maybe a bit too xc for Enduro racing, I had it for a race and just ended up puncturing, a lot!
