What else is there to say about the Canyon Spectral AL 6.0 EX? For years it has enjoyed clean sweeps in our group tests, defining the definitive trail-bike. From the mellowest trail to the toughest EWS, it has always been the one bike to rule them all. It’s certainly the godfather of trail, but is the Spectral starting to show its age?

For a while nobody knew who JEFFSY was. Just when we had accepted ‘he’ was a great 29er, YT went and dropped a 27.5” version and everyone’s heads just exploded. While we would argue that it’s nice to have a choice, can the YT JEFFSY AL ONE 27 live up to the high standard set by the award-winning 29er?

The words “Made For Fun” hide behind the shock mount of the new Marin Rift Zone 3, and hot damn… they’re not lying. While the media attention is drawn to the polarizing looks of the Wolf Ridge, the new Rift Zone may well be the jewel in the Marin 2018 lineup. Like an Audi RS6, the Rift Zone hides behind unassuming looks before lighting up its tyres and smoking everything else on the trail.
