No Fuss Events and Innerleithen MTB Racing are pleased to announce that they will be working together to organise Scotland’s first National Enduro Race Series in 2014. The series will consist of 6 races held throughout Scotland, ensuring that each round has a unique feel and that the variety of  terrain available to us is maximised.

I’ve been keen for World Champs all year, as it was my only goal with DH racing for the season. All of the other DH races I did this year were just to get selected for the national team and get to Pietermaritzburg, while not risking hurting myself for the enduros in the process. There was certainly an added level of pressure for the race given that it was my only DH racing objective. But, since Enduro racing was the season’s focus, I also felt very relaxed going into and throughout the week.

The POC Eastern States Cup Enduro Series held it’s fifth and final race of the season this past weekend at Killington Resort in Vermont. The series finals were the second time the series visited Killington in 2013. The event offered over $5000 Cash and $3000 in product prizing, while the series offered a total of over $30,000 cash/prizes across the 5 enduro events.

Jared Graves, currently in second place in the overall ranking of the Enduro World Series, just won the bronze medal at the Downhill World Championship in South Africa. As the track is not as gnarly as other downhill tracks of the World Cup circuit everyone was tuning their bikes to make them as light and efficient as possible.
