Race Report: California Enduro Series #3 – Northstar Livewire

Round #3 of the 2014 California Enduro Series took place on Saturday, August 30 at Northstar California Resort in Truckee. Running the day before the wildly popular Livewire Classic (final event of the Northstar Downhill Mountain Bike Race Series), the Livewire Classic Enduro capped off Northstar’s 2014 Enduro Bike Race Series and drew over 230 racers. Race Report: Urge 1001 Enduro #6 – Portes du Mercantour

One of the highlights of the Urge 1001 Enduro series is the Enduro Giant Portes du Mercantour race.
The two day event is based in Valberg as well as in Guillaumes. 400 bikers decided to compete against each other on five stages in the Guillaumes valley. Photos: Final Day, Crested Butte Ultra Enduro

A lot of words can be used to describe the five day Ultra Enduro in Crested Butte, Colorado. Awesome. Difficult. Beautiful. Challenging. Ask any racer and you will probably hear more descriptors. One that comes to my mind is “Inspiring.” Racers pushed themselves to the limit, but always came back to the race village tired and happy.
