CushCore PRO tire insert long-term review – Strong performance for strong hands
CushCore tire inserts are both a curse and a blessing. In our long-term review, the expensive foam inserts proved to be impressively effective at warding off damage to tires and rims, improving handling and lasting a long time. If only they weren’t such a menace to install!
The best bike park bike of 2021 – 6 exciting bikes for good times, airtime and party laps in the bike park
Big bikes, massive jumps and good times: we organised our own mini Rampage in the South of France, pushed our limits in one of Europe’s best bike parks and tested the 6 hottest bike park party bikes between € 2,999 and € 6,999. This group test is for all those who can’t keep their hands out of the cookie jar, who love an adrenaline rush and just want to have as much fun as possible. Time for some party laps!
Canyon Torque:ON 9 – Season ticket included?
€ 5,999 for a season ticket? Yeah, that’s right. Because with the Torque:ON 9, the lack of shuttles is a thing of the past. The Canyon beams you straight to the top of your favourite jump line and its comparatively high weight ensures excellent stability, making the Canyon feel almost like a dirt bike in the air. In our bike park group test, we’ve found out how easy (or hard) it is to get the Canyon airborne and how the extra weight affects its handling!
Norco Shore 1 – Made for bike parks! Right for bike parks?
The new Norco Shore 1 is a thoroughbred freerider. The key ingredients? A bulky alloy frame, robust components and a high-pivot suspension design that generates a whopping 180 mm travel. Add to that, a massive 510 mm reach in size XL. But is the Norco as stable as it looks and is such a massive bike with small 27.5” wheels still fun?
Propain Spindrift CF Mix – A rowdy bike park rig?
This is exactly what a bike park rig looks like! With its 190 mm fork, mixed wheel setup and a customised spec chosen from Propain’s extensive online configurator, the Spindrift CF Mix looks damn hot. But does lots of travel automatically translate into lots of reserves and is the bike still fun on flowing trails?
