Pro Bike Check: The custom (pink!) Focus SAM of Steffie Teltscher

She’s one of the most-stylish riders of Germany for definite and her Focus SAM is styled perfectly to underline that. We had the chance to take a closer look!

Steffie can look back at a respectable racing season with consistent results and she often appeared in our race reports from the Specialized-SRAM Enduro Series and the European Series. Her weapon of choice: A Focus SAM in size S with a custom paintjob.

Steffie is riding a SRAM drivetrain, the gear range of 11 – 42t is enough for her needs.
Die Fahrwerkskomponenten PIKE und Monarch Plus kommen aus dem Hause RockShox. Das Setup überlässt sich Freund Fabi.
The suspension consists of a RockShox PIKE and Monarch Plus – her boyfriend Fabian Scholz, a successful racer too, takes care of her setup.
Die SRAM Roam 60 Carbon-Laufräder sparen ordentlich Gewicht ein, MAXXIS-Reifen sorgen für genügend Grip. Am Hinterrad vertraut Steffie auf den Minion DHR II, den sie mit 1,6 bar Druck und Tubeless aufgebaut fährt.
To save weight, Steffie mounted SRAM Roam 60 wheels, Maxxis tires provide the necessary grip. The Minion DHR II at the rear wheel is inflated with 1,6 bar (tubeless).

Der Truvativ Holzfeller-Vorbau ist 40 mm kurz, der Blackbox-Carbonlenker wurde für die schmaleren Schultern auf 730 mm gekürzt.
The Truvativ Holzfeller stem is 40 mm long, the Blackbox carbon bar was shortened to 730mm to fit Steffie perfectly.
Die farblich perfekt passenden Griffe und den Sattel liefert Sponsor Ergon.
Saddle and grips, both in matching pink, come from her sponsor Ergon. The brakes are SRAM Guide RSC.
