Pro Bike Check: Chris Keeble Smith’s Marin Attack Trail Pro

The Emerald Enduro in Wicklow, Ireland, held host to some of the biggest names in the sport, and luckily we had the chance to catch up with the super relaxed 21-year old Marin rider, Chris-Keeble Smith. Starting in cross-country, moving across with his developed skills into 4x, then once again refining his skills to in the sport and subsequently, he’s now landed here, in the Enduro world series. This kid is gonna be big news.

A lot of big things are on the horizon for Chris, so we wish him the best of luck.

Rocking the
MRP sorted out Chris with a Stage fork two years ago and when chatting to him, he seemed eternally grateful. “It’s my second year on the fork and it’s still going strong. It holds together really well on the big rocky stuff at the top of the runs, especially when I have to be super aggressive.”

“I run 20 PSI in the front which is really soft, but the Magic Mary Snake Skin has such a strong casing it tends to hold its shape.”

Obviously, being sponsored by Stan’s has its perks.Running 26 PSI on the back, there’s a fair bit of difference between the two tires. Chris noted he likes to keep things rolling super quick on the back and soft on the front.

“I was unsure on enduro racing at first, but in my first competition I won and stuck with it, then I got signed to Marin and came 4th in Elite. Scotland, Ireland and Finale Ligure are my next stops.”
