ENDURO Long-term Test 2014: The BMC Trailfox TF01
Another ride from our longterm-shed is the exclusive Trailfox TF01 XX1 Trailcrew of the Swiss high-end brand BMC. It will be the trusted companion of ENDUROs executive editor Robin Schmitt. Let’s have a first look at this beauty, a full review will follow soon!
With my height of 178cm, I chose the BMC Trailfox TF01 XX Trailcrew in size M. With it’s full-carbon frame, 150mm Fox suspension and high-end parts from SRAM and DT Swiss, the Trailfox has everything you could wish for. With this bike, I have no excuses!
A well-designed twentyniner provides a big plus on safety, traction and riding fun, especially when you ride on sight. When I manage to escape from the office, I wish to have an potent bike to keep up with my well-trained mates.
With its 150 millimeters of travel, the BMC Trailfox TF01 is exactly the type of bike I wished for. After racing the Specialized-SRAM series in 2012 (fourth place overall!), I won’t have the time to compete this season. So I’m just enjoying every bike-moment, rather than than dealing with stressful racing.
You can follow our experiences with the BMX Trailfox – and all other longterm testbikes – in our interactive timeline: Including broken parts, tuning modifications and everyday-impressions, but also all the great stories we experienced with our bikes – you should swing by regularly!
