Stage 14 and 15 – Detailed Insight

Giro
After a total of 2120km ridden so far and having cycled 254km today, it’s down to business as Stage 14 and 15 of the Giro d’Italia scales the heights with two mountain top finishes.

Stage 14: 168km from Cervere to Bardonecchia with two huge climbs, the final climb of today’s stage hasn’t been used since Eddy Merckx soloed to victory in the pink jersey in 1972.

Stage 15: 149km from Cesana to the mighty French climb of Col de Galibier. Its the last stage before the second rest day, so the battle for the general classification will be incredibly fierce.

Here’s a very detailed insight from our friends at GCN.
