‘Who’s On Top?’: Queer Climbers Summit Mt. Hood

“Who’s On Top?” tells the story of four queer-identifying climbers and their personal and collective mission to summit Mt. Hood.

“I want to climb Mt. Hood because I want to be a part of a team of queer climbers,” Taylor Feldman said.

The start of the “Who’s On Top?” film is pretty direct — here’s who the climbers are. And here’s their goal. Why? For some, they’ve never felt a sense of belonging; for some, never a sense of acceptance; and for some, never the thrill of adventure.

For all, it’s a chance to be out, be supported, and have epic fun training, hiking, and climbing a mountain. They’re here, they’re queer, and they’re ready to share their summit story.

Oh! And, not to mention, but gay icon George Takei takes on the narration of this soul-searching adventure.

Run Time: 1 hour 16 minutes

The moving released on May 18 and is available on YouTube now. Directed by Devin Fei-Fan Tau and narrated by George Takei.
