Watch 16-Year-Old Climber Colin Duffy Send Utah’s ‘Hurricave’

Olympic climber Colin Duffy is barely old enough to drive, but his tick list already features some of the steepest sport climbs in the U.S. — including Joe Kinder’s classic ‘Life of Villains,’ 5.14d.

If Colin Duffy isn’t already on your radar, just hold your breath. By all metrics — athleticism, skill, drive, and track record — Duffy is a climbing phenom.

And it doesn’t hurt that he grew up on the same team that produced the first woman to climb 5.15 (Margo Hayes) and America’s first female Olympic climber (Brooke Raboutou).

But the kid’s not just a gym climber. This compilation from Black Diamond follows Duffy as he takes down multiple 5.14+ routes in Utah’s iconic Hurricave.

Prepare to get stoked.
