The Story of Jerome Danger: Why Bull Riding Is the Most Dangerous Sport on Dirt

Who is Jerome Danger? YETI’s new film highlights bull riding legend Jerome Davis, then and now.

Jerome “Danger” Davis’ life as a bull rider was forever changed in less than 8 seconds. Tragedy struck on March 14, 1998. During a routine contest, Davis was bucked from a bull named “Knock ’em out John” and suffered a broken neck. The injury left him paralyzed from the chest down.

Though the accident forever altered Davis’ life, he sought to remain positive and to continue doing what he loves. Although things operate a bit differently these days, he and his wife continue to live their lives revolving around ranching and bull riding.

Despite Davis’ injury, this tale of perseverance reminds us that it’s good to keep doing what you love no matter what happens.
