2022 Winter Olympic Qualifiers Are Here: How to Watch Dew Tour This Weekend

Want to see what professional ski and snowboard athletes are up to? Check out these slopestyle and halfpipe ski and snowboard competitions. Read on for how to watch Dew Tour live.

Like Red Bull Rampage, X Games, and a few other select events, Winter Dew Tour is a must-watch for wintersports enthusiasts everywhere.

Even if you don’t know the difference between a double cork, switch flip, or nose butter, you’ll still enjoy watching the ski and snowboard talent that’s about to hit the pipe at Copper Mountain, Colo., this weekend.

Who to Watch

U.S. pro athletes to watch include snowboarders Red Gerard, Danny Davis, Julia Marino, Shaun White, Chloe Kim, and Kiana Clay as well as freeskiers Alex Ferreira, Maggie Voisin, David Wise, Devin Logan, and more.

International athletes to watch include snowboarders Mark McMorris, Stale Sandbech, Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, and Jan Sherrer as well as skiers Kelly Sildaru, Tess Ledeux, and Mark Hendrickson.

And while the competition is big, the stakes are even bigger. Athletes’ Dew Tour performances will also receive points on a system that will determine which athletes go to the Olympics to represent Team USA.

There are currently four Olympic snowboard events (slalom, cross, halfpipe, and big air) and four Olympic freeski events (ski cross, halfpipe, slopestyle, and big air), many of which will throw down at Dew Tour.

Big air, which was added as a snowboard event at the Olympics in 2018, will debut as a freeski event for the first time at the 2022 Olympic Games.
