Despite a serious crash on the previous weekend , which had seen him end up in the hospital with a broken nasal septum and a cut tongue with 30 stitches, Thibaut Daprela made the most of the deteriorating weather conditions during the World Cup DH race in Les Gets. The rain had indeed begun to fall, but not as hard as for the competitors who started after him. Regardless, it was an incredible run.
