[Video] The Battle for the European XC Championship
Today the elite men’s and women’s race for the European cross country title took place at Monte Tamaro. While there was no major story among women, with a victory also by world champion Ferrand Prevot, amongst the men Nino Schurter did not have an easy go on the very technical course a few kilometers from Lugano. Complete women results . Lechner, a fresh silver medalist at the Leogang World Championships, was not present because she went to Belgium for a cyclocross race.
