[Video] Scout & Sentinel Now Available in Aluminum
Sometimes the choices of brands are crazy, dictated by pure profit and unacceptable by true MTB enthusiasts. With this video Transition is keen to underline that this does not apply to their brand and that fun on the bike always comes first. In fact, contrary to the choices of many competitors, Transition presents two bikes with an aluminum frame, one of which, unbelievably even features the now “defunct” 27.5 wheels.
The Scout and Sentinel are the two bikes that Transition has also made in aluminum, combining the carbon models with a cheaper and more accessible choice in their entire range. Below are the main features for both models that inherit geometry, travel and all the main details from their carbon counterparts.
- Lifetime warranty
- SBG Geometry
- Enduro Max Bearings
- Threaded bottom bracket
- Molded rubber protection for the frame
- UDH dropout
- Space for the bottle cage
- Passage of the brake line outside the frame
The aluminum Scout and Sentinel are each available in two different colors and with two trim levels, in addition to the option of frame only. The GX set-up for both models in the USA is sold at a price of 4,999 dollars while the NX set-up for 3,899 dollars.
