Canyon presents the K.I.S. Steering Stabilizer

Today Canyon introduced the K.I.S., which stands for Keep It Stable and is a new steering stabilization system invented by the hotbed of ideas that is Jo Klieber – the founder of Syntace. It is a spring mechanism integrated into the frame that connects a cam ring placed on the fork steerer to an anchor point located in the top tube. Sound complicated? With nasty weather moving in at a threatening pace from West of the venue, Red Bull Rampage moved the go time up by half an hour at the last minute in hopes of avoiding the high winds coming along with the approaching storm. Riding started to kick off during these last couple days after close to a week of heavy building in the Utah desert at Red Bull Rampage. Being back in the 2008 / 2012 / 2013 zone was a nice, if not daunting, reminder of its massive size.
