[First Look] PNW’s Loam Lever Gen 2
PNW Components sent over an updated version of their “Loam” dropper post lever. The lever sees broader compatibility, greater adjustability and a bigger thumb paddle amongst other things. More information below…
Details
- 36 grams – lever only, verified
- 22.2, Matchmaker X, I-Spec EV and I-Spec II compatible
- 7 Colors
- Sealed cartridge bearing
- Stainless steel hardware
- $69.00 USD
The Loam lever rolls on a large sealed cartridge bearing, which should help keep it operating smoothing, even in terrible conditions and after many a hosing.
The lever also picks up a starting point adjustment – note the grub screw on the left side of the picture above. This allows you to fine tune the home position of the thumb paddle. Also note the beautiful machining…The (larger) lever is made from a solid piece of billet aluminum.
Lastly, there are now 3 different mounting positions as regards the inboard/outboard adjustment. This gives it a bump from 6mm to 14mm of variation.
We haven’t had this little unit very long, but it looks like a winner…
