[First Look] Öhlins RXF 34 Fork
[ad3]
For the past couple of years, Specialized and Öhlins have been working hand in hand to develop shock tunes specifically for their Demo and Enduro bikes. It looks like their relationship has expanded and is inching towards the front of the bike. Enter the RXF 34 fork. We are one of, if not the first media outlet to get our hands on this new offering from Öhlins in the USA. The version we have is a 120mm travel, 29″ wheeled offering with a 46mm offset. We’re bolting it up at the moment for some long term testing but for now we wanted to bring you a preview and discuss it’s features and finer points; some of which are industry firsts.
Details
• 120, 140, 160mm options for 29” in 15x100mm spacing
• High/low speed compression & rebound adjustments along with adjustable air spring.
• Twin Tube(Recirculating) Design
• $1,150 MSRP
• 46mm offset
• 4.5 pounds (actual weight with uncut steerer)
• Available “soon”
We’ll keep you updated on how it works over the coming months. Stay tuned.
