[Bike Check] Manuel Fumic’s Cannondale F-Si
[ad3]
Yesterday, before the race in Tesserete, I had a look at Manuel Fumic’s Cannondale FSi, set up by his mechanic, Italian Giacomo Angeli, to face the tough track conditions. Wet roots, mud and slippery rocks were really gnarly, even for the pros.
Manuel is warming up in the tent, while the rain stopped falling.
Schwalbe Nobby Nic on front.
Schwalbe Dirty Dan on the rear, to get all the traction possible.
SRAM XX1 drivetrain with a brutal 36T chainring.
Leonardi chainguide. Giacomo explained that sometimes the mud accumulates between the teeth and the chain may fall off.
SRAM XX brakes with 180mm rotors.
FSA handlebar and seatpost.
Enve M50 carbon rims.
Lefty, what else?
Self made tool to unscrew the air valve when using a compressor to let as much air as possible in and fit the tyre to the rim.
After few laps the shiny FSi looked like that.
Manuel finished second behind Ralph Näf. Read our report here.
Thank you Manuel!
