[Bike Check] Loïc Bruni’s La Pierre DH Team
[ad3]
The last of our bike checks from Val Di Sole, Loïc Bruni battled this year to try and gain the top spot for La Pierre Gravity Republic, coming close but never managing a win. We had a look at his bike and noted all the different features he has that allow him to go fast.
Loïc’s DH Team Alloy 27.5″ Supreme 6 SLT bike ready to roll.
Loïc uses a 7 speed XO DH cassette and changer.
Custom Easton hubs with his name on them, extra stiffness from the greater width.
Loïc has run Avid Code callipers.
His chain E13 guide is the quiet version with a soft insert.
Loïc’s saddle set mid position.
Loïc raises his stack height with two spacers.
His bite point on his Black Box levers.
Custom name decal for his Boxxer fork.
Up front a 200mm disc on his Havoc wheels.
Alot of riders pair the Guide brake lever with an Avid Code calliper.
Crank Bros pedals.
The La Pierre SLT linkage system into the Rockshox Vivid Coil.
A piece of foam to stop mud build up.
Dirty Dan Schwalbe tyres were mounted, no details on pressure…
The geometry was as open as possible on his front fork.
