While the television coverage, video, POV camera footage, and photographic stories from Red Bull Rampage do an impressive job of conveying the acrophobia inducing exposure, you simply cannot appreciate the scale of the event unless you’re staring directly at the face of the mountain. This image shot by Brad Holmes last year of Kyle Strait dropping down a cliff does a remarkable job of capturing both how dangerous this event is and just how talented these athletes are.
