Kate Courtney became the first U.S. women to win the elite XC world title since Alison Dunlap in 2001.
It was a good year for Kate Courtney and Finn Iles. After making the full time jump to the elite ranks in 2018, both riders found success on the senior circuit, culminated by Courtney’s triumph in the women’s world championship race.
Canadian Finn Iles was all but unbeatable in the junior ranks, but found the going much tougher when he graduated to the next level.
