RockShox continues to tease the release of their new RS-1 inverted fork with an extended ride video that follows up similar photos and edits they’ve trickled out over the past month. This time XC racer Russell Finsterwald and so-called weekend warrior Chris Dewar shred some desert singletrack near the town of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains of southern California.

We did manage to get a couple screen grabs that show the fork in action (see our slideshow below), but as we alluded to in our speculation article last week, we still don’t have a full download on the new boinger. The countdown is on, however, as RockShox promises a reveal just before the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, Calif. next week. In the mean time, we’re gonna watch this again and dream of desert trails.
