We all know that a puny mountain bike brake stands no chance against a industrial lathe, but that doesn’t stop the guys from Beyond The Press from trying. Some people just want to watch the world burn….

And just for fun, here’s a similar test performed with an F1 disc brake. Pretty amazing to see how well the rotor dissipates heat, going from hotter than the fires of Mordor to flat black within just a few seconds.
