The Crankworx Pump Track challenge is always a crowd pleaser as mountain biking legends from all disciplines meet up in near perfect track to compete in a 2-run elimination format. The speed and style achieved is remarkable as these elite athletes rocket around the track without a single pedal stroke.

The Crankworx Whistler Pump Track saw a serious battle as Adrien Loron faced a Crankworx legend Paul Basagoitia (USA). Winning the Ultimate Pump Track Challenge, Loron also became the Pump Track Challenge Series winner. “This is so awesome for me,” said Loron. “Basagoitia was the only guy who has never lost to me, and he is such an awesome rider.” “It feels amazing,” said Basagoitia. “I’m pretty excited to be back on the podium. Different discipline, so it’s good to know that I could maybe have another ten years in something else.”
