Since Josh Bryceland announced that he was leaving Santa Cruz Bicycles in September of 2017, the mountain bike world was left wondering what was next for this innovator. He is a wizard on the bike with innate bike control and boundless creativity. And he complemented that with impressive results in the World Cup downhill circuit as well.
With this video from Cannondale, we now know who bagged Josh “Ratboy” Bryceland. Cannondale is on upswing as they’ve added talent to the company and creating compelling and relevant bikes that seem to address what many mountain bikers desire, not just the brand loyalists. And they’re hitting price points too that delivers terrific value, like the Cannondale Habit.
Josh Bryceland leads a newly formed crew of emerging mountain bike riders, including Sam (aka Dave) Hockenhull, Max Nerurkar and youngster Sam Cofano.
“I wanted to start something new, fresh and unexpected.” said Bryceland. “This is a way to build something and give back to the next generation of riders.”
All four riders chose the Habit alloy models for a recent trip to Spain. Check back in a week for an extended edit.
