David Turner and Turner Bikes celebrate their 20th anniversary at Interbike. Dave shows us the newest model, the Flux as well as the Burner with the 20th Anniversary finish.
The Flux has 27.5″ wheels, 120mm travel and a DT Swiss rear axle. It features the first shaped tubing on their aluminum bikes with made and formed in America tubing. The Flux’s head angle has also been slackened to 68 degrees.
This year the Burner will be available in the 20th Anniversary polished finish (a 2-step, time consuming process), similar to the finish when they first introduced the Burner bike in 1993. It is a 27.5″ mountain bike that has 140mm travel in the rear, 150mm travel fork, cable routing for dropper posts, a 6000 series aluminum frame, ISCG tabs and the KS LEV seatpost. Also available this year, Turner will also be offering 8 custom colors when ordered direct.
Dave Turner goes over the Sultan 29er and Czar 29er for 2014. The Sultan 29er is longer travel bike with 125mm travel in the rear. It’s a fun, all around trail bike. The Czar 29er, made of Carbon Fiber is aimed at the racing crowd. It has no ISCG tabs and features grease fittings on all the pivots, exposed cable routing and 69.8 head angle with a 100mm fork.
Lastly, Dave Turner shows us the DHR Downhill race bike, that’s specifically designed for going fast downhill. It features 26″ wheels which saves on weight, a 63 degree slack head angle, dw-link, the Fox re-engineered shock for 2014, and it comes in 4 different sizes.
The new Flux 27.5 has been completely redesigned from the ground up to take your pursuit for exceptional trail riding further & faster than ever before.
