Scott Sports marketing manager Nic Sims shows off a slew of useful new products from the Swiss bike maker’s innovative Syncros component brand.
Syncros has unveiled a host of sleek new components for both on and off-bike applications. Highlights include seatposts, wheels, stems, handlebars, grips, tools, head unit mounts, saddles, and even a trick utility bottle cage.
Among the most intriguing is the head unit mount that integrates seamlessly with the new Syncros XR1.5 stem. It features a stealthy clean look and is compatible with a variety bike computers. Meanwhile, the XR1.0 SL saddle features carbon rails and body, and weighs a scant 155g for the narrow version. Last but not least, Syncros has a new utility bottle cage that doubles as a multi-tool and hand pump carrier.

Integration has always been part of Syncros when it comes to designing a new product. To be sure you leave home with all the essentials to fix any mechanical issue you might encounter along the way, they designed a range of bottle cages including an integrated room to house an 8 bit multi-tool and chain tool, making sure you get back on the bike in no time. $50-$80 depending on model. The optimized aluminum construction achieves the perfect balance of strength, stiffness and weight. 3D forged from 7075 alloy and a broad four-bolt face plate design creates a better distribution of stress and lowers the clamping force required to secure the handlebar. 120gm/50mm. Available now for $50.
The new Syncros Computer hanger provides perfect integration for your head unit on the Syncros XR Stem. Available now for $35.

The tubeless ready carbon clincher rims offer superior acceleration and the new Boost standard hubs add a significant increase in stiffness. The CNC machined center lock hubs feature DT Swiss Star Ratchet System on the rear for quick engagement and stainless steel bearings all around for a long reliable life.
