Dave Michael from Swagman shows us their 2014 collection that includes the Semi 2.0, Semi 4.0, G10, Jackknife, XTC 2, Titan, and Trailhead bike racks, as well as the Venue RS and SX cell phone holders.
The Seml 2.0 is a 2 bike, tray style rack with zero frame contact. It has a hook that comes down on front wheel to secure it and a ratchet strap for the rear wheel that can adjust for different wheel sizes. The Semi 2.0 can be tipped down, away from vehicle to gain rear access and when not in use, the rack can be folded up against the car with the use of a cam lever.
The Semi 4.0 is the 2.0’s big brother and is a 2+2 bike rack where you can remove the outer bolt to remove the outer 2-bike rack when not in use. It fits a 2″ hitch receiver and has a 45 lb per bike carrying capacity.
The G10 frame contact rack features a top tube hook and the trays can slide to hold the bikes with a ratchet strap to hold the wheels and bike in place. It also has ability to tilt away from the vehicle to gain rear access.
The Jackknife is another zero frame contact bike rack that’s vertical style where the front wheel is held in cradles that can be adjusted for 26″, 27.5″/650B and 29″ wheels. When not in use, the Jackknife folds up nice, tight and compact and is available 2-bike and 4-bike sizes.
The entry level, tray style XTC 2 rack comes in a 2 and 4 bike design.
The upper price point 2 arm design Titan, uses the new cam levers to drop the arms down as well as to drop the rack down away from the vehicle. It features an integrated lock and comes in a 2-bike and 4-bike model.
The Trailhead is available in a 2, 3 and 4 bike design. It utilizes removable pins to drop the arms down as well as to drop the rack away from vehicle.
Swagman is also offering 2 new cell phone holders, for the Andriod and iPhone. The Venue RS and Venue SX feature a quick release system with a RF welded seamed case with double roll top finish, that is waterproof and can be used in landscape or portrait mode. The Venue RS and Venue SX will retail for $40.
