Marin Mountain Bike Product Manager Aaron Kerson gives us a sneak peek at the forthcoming 2015 Marin Rift Zone Carbon 29. Formerly a marathon/XC bike, Marin is morphing the Rift Zone into a trail bike with more all-around capabilities. The bike features Marin’s Quad Link design that uses flexible chainstays instead of traditional lower pivots.
The new Rift Zone XC Carbon is a 120mm front end paired with a 110mm rear travel to create a light capable trail bike. Geometry numbers broken down by size are as follows.
