RockShox updates Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Lyrik and more
RockShox has overhauled the Sektor, Reba, Recon, Judy, 30, Bluto, and Pike DJ suspension forks with added performance and value. Moving further down the line the long travel forks are also updated. The Lyrik and Yari get a new, smoother DebonAir air spring, while the Lyrik receives the top-level RC2 Charger 2 damper cartridge. Scroll down to read the full RockShox press release on all the changes and updates.
RockShox LyriK RC2
Enduro stages are steeper, longer and meaner than ever before, and RockShox Lyrik RC2 is here to humble them. The new Charger 2 RC2 damper offers independent high and low-speed compression adjustment to make molehills out of mountains. The new DebonAir air spring reduces friction from every single moving part, improving bump absorption and response under load, and drastically reducing rider fatigue. New, shorter offset options make Lyrik RC2 compatible with the confidence-inspiring (and smile-inducing) machines being dreamed up by bike designers around the world.
Features and Benefits
- New friction-reducing DebonAir air spring delivers the most responsive forks and rear shocks in RockShox history, maintaining traction in more conditions than ever before
- New graphics with a BoXXer Red fork color option
- New Charger 2 RC2 damper with independent high and low speed compression adjustment, allowing more adjustability than ever before
- External Rebound damping adjustment
- Price: $999
- On sale: April 2018

RockShox Pike
When RockShox re-launched Pike in 2013, it immediately became the benchmark for Trail and Enduro forks, with a supple and progressive feel that simply could not be matched. To ensure Pike’s continuing domination of the class, we put it on a weight-loss program, added the new Charger 2 damper, included remote options, and gave it a graphic-package makeover that aligns with the all-new chassis design. Riders will benefit from Pike’s increased steering authority – thanks to BOOST-only spacing, stiffness and lighter overall weight – the new friction-reducing DebonAir air spring and the potential to run wider (2.8″) tires.
Features and Benefits
- New friction-reducing DebonAir air spring delivers the most responsive forks and rear shocks in RockShox history, maintaining traction in more conditions than ever before
- Charger 2 damper is lighter and more bump-compliant than original Charger, and the adjustment knobs are more comfortable to turn.
- Price: $879-949
- On sale: April 2018

The new DebonAir air spring reduces friction from every single moving part, maintaining traction in more conditions than ever before.
