Revamped Trek Session adds 29er option

Session 9.9 Kiss

The revised Trek Session now comes in 27.5 and 29er versions.

Not all of us can buy and ride downhill bikes. In fact, very few of us can these days. But our fascination with them continues because they are the F1 cars of our sport. Technology is showcased in these machines and only the bravest and most skilled can pilot these down rock gardens at ballistic speeds. Here we hope to learn about the limits of our sport and trickle down some of this knowledge to our mere mortal riding adventures.

The Trek Session has been a staple of the World Cup DH scene and the newest version is one of the biggest updates we’ve seen. It is now stiffer and longer — and the biggest news of all is that a 29er version has been added to the line. Eight years in the making since we first saw Trek’s first 29er downhill prototype, they finally feel it is ready for the world stage.
