The OZ Trails have a vast array of terrain, including lots of fast and flowy.

Outerbike, the popular consumer demo event operated by Western Spirit Cycling, is adding a fourth stop to its lineup in 2018. The OZ Trails in Bentonville, Arkansas, will join a slate that includes Moab Spring (April 6-8), Crested Butte Summer (August 17-19), and Moab Fall (October 5-7). The Bentonville event will follow, running October 26-28.

There are plenty of mettle testing man-made features in the Bentonville area.

This is yet another feather in the Bentonville MTB cap, which played host to IMBA summit in fall 2016, and has gained considerably notoriety for its extensive close-in trail networks. The area has in part benefited from its proximity to the world headquarters of Walmart, which through the Walton Family Foundation, has made significant donations to the area’s trail building efforts.

For the uninitiated, Outerbike is dedicated to helping riders pick their next bike. With changes in sales channels and continual improvements in design and technology, it’s best for cyclists to test ride bikes on real trails.

“Outerbike is focused on one thing: providing world class demo opportunities for riders,” said Ashley Korenblat, CEO of Western Spirit Cycling. “We are working to give riders across the country a chance to get in on the action, and the amazing OZ Trails in Bentonville will be a great compliment to Outerbike in Crested Butte and Moab. By adding new dates and locations, more cyclists will have the chance to try before they buy and meet the companies directly.”
