Norco offers a broad range of bikes from skinny tired road machines to trail crushing carbon fat bikes. For 2017, the Canadian-based company has rounded out its fleet with three exciting new options, the Torrent FS, Ithaqua, and Optic.
The Torrent FS is the follow-up to Norco’s popular Torrent hardtail, but with a little more rowdy capability. Key spec includes 130mm rear travel, 140mm front, 1x drivetrain, 2.8” tires, and a dropper post.
For terrain requiring even wider tires, the Ithaqua is Norco’s new carbon fatbike. It features 5” tires, thru-axles front and rear, and a 1x drivetrain.
Finally, situated between the Revolver and Sight in Norco’s MTB line is the new Optic Trail. It’s available in 29er and 27.5 wheel sizes, with suspension packages varying based on wheel size. For the big wheeled bikes you’ll get 110mm rear travel, 120mm front. The 27.5 models are 120mm rear, 130mm front. And all Optic Trail bikes come spec’d with a dropper post.

Updated for 2017 with 140mm travel up front, the newest Torrent is the latest evolution of Norco's aggressive all-mountain hardtail. Designed from the ground up with long, low and slack geometry, 40mm rims, and 2.8" tires, the Torrent's quick but stable manner will have riders whooping with joy on flowing singletrack, dominating rocks and roots on technical downhills, and tackling steep, loose climbs with ease. Novice and experienced riders alike will benefit from the increased traction and control.
The 100mm Revolver 7 FS is a World Cup-level 650b platform crowning Norco's XC Race program. The stiff, feather-light carbon frame will have you surging up climbs, while racer-approved Gravity Tune geometry ensures the bike and rider are poised and confident on descents. With kinematics optimized for cross-country racing and A.R.T. suspension, the Revolver delivers maximum pedaling efficiency and predictable, stable support when the course gets chunky. The Revolver 7 FS has what it takes to win.
The Optic Carbon 7 is a fast-pedaling 650b trail bike that rides with just the right mix of cross country efficiency and all mountain playfulness. Progressive trail geometry has been carefully tuned across each frame size to give every rider the same optimal fit and ride quality, while A.R.T. suspension delivers both efficient climbing and lively, capable descending.
New for 2017, the Ithaqua combines fat bike versatility with race bike performance. The lightweight carbon frame features the same responsive Power Chassis as our XC race bikes, but with clearance for tires up to 5" wide. This allows it to float through snowdrifts and over sand dunes alike. Whether you're racing on groomers or trailblazing through untouched powder, the Ithaqua delivers the full fat experience without the weight.
The Aurum Killer B Carbon was designed in conjunction with Norco's World Cup DH teams past and present and proven on the World Cup stage. This 650b-wheeled race bike represents the cutting edge of Norco's engineering and design capability and brings together all of its most advanced carbon, aluminum and mountain technologies. The Aurum - Latin for "gold" - earned its name by turning the most challenging terrain features into advantages over other riders.
New for 2017, the comfort and performance of the VFR is now available in a 24" youth fitness bike. Featuring a twist shifter and 1x drivetrain, they'll have the range of gears they need in a simplified setup. Boasting a road-inspired lightweight frame with Norco's GIZMO internal cable routing and ARC Endurance stays, the VFR 24 is a sleek yet comfortable option for the fitness-minded kid who likes to go fast.
New for 2017, the Fluid HT+ is the latest addition to the Fluid family. Featuring a responsive aluminum hardtail frame designed around 24" wheels, the Fluid HT+ offers a fast and efficient ride with capable handling. With extra-wide 2.6" tires and modern trail geometry including a short, stiff rear end, the Fluid HT+ will have them snapping around corners, exploding up technical climbs, and flowing through rocky, rooty descents.
The Norco Bigfoot 4.3 brings the all-season fun of a fat bike to younger riders. With its 24x4" fat tires, the Bigfoot floats through snow, sand, mud and other variable terrain, opening the door to mid-winter expeditions and epic beach rides. Its burly but lightweight aluminum frame is efficient, stable, and surprisingly maneuverable. Find adventure and take in the surroundings, in places where bikes rarely go.
To kids, a bike is more than just a bike. It's a two-wheeled passport to freedom and adventure. That's why the Norco youth line includes everything from 10" run bikes to full suspension mountain bikes. New for 2017, they've added youth versions of their Valence endurance road bike, Fluid hardtail plus bike, and VFR fitness bike.
