Motobecane launches budget-friendly plus bikes
Motobecane, a direct-to-consumer on-line retailer that also has brick and mortar stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Florida, has unveiled two budget friendly plus-size mountain bikes with the tagline, “Faster and lighter than a fat bike but just as fun.”
Motobecane claims the bikes are highly versatile, able to be equipped with a 27.5+ set-ups, or up to 29×2.2, and even 700×40 for commuting. Alternate wheels/tire sets are sold separately.
Features of the bikes include WTB TCS tubeless compatible wheelsets, tapered head tubes, front and rear thru-axles, lockout suspension forks, hydroformed aluminum frames, disc brakes (up to SRAM Guide R hydraulic level), and drivetrain specs up to SRAM X9.
