Jeff Lenosky Trail Boss Series takes on Free Lunch
For the latest episode of the Jeff Lenosky Trail Boss video series, he heads back to Colorado to ride Free Lunch in Grand Junction, Colorado. (Check out his first Colorado excursion here.)
This expert-rated downhill only trail is part of the Lunch Loops Trail System and is one go the most fun (and technical) trails you’ll ever ride — if you dare. All of the features are well marked with multiple line options. According to the ride description on MTB Project, there are “many sections of technical challenge so body armor such as elbow and knee pads are a good idea.” Press play to find out why.

A veteran rider with a 20-year professional career and three Observed Trials U.S. National Championships to his name, Lenosky uses his skills to ride the unrideable in Trail Boss. When you ride an entire trail you may feel like a Boss, but without the proper skills Mother Nature can quickly remind you who’s really in charge. This video series explores some of the most technical trials around and provides tips so you can become a Trail Boss, too.
