Interbike: Mavic Crossmax XL Wheel-Tyre System
This year, French manufacturer Mavic has built on its Crossmax Enduro platform and offers the all-mountain Crossmax XL Wheel-Tyre System (WTS), bringing a little more durability to the line in both the rim and the tire.
The “Maxtal” alloy rim is stronger, wider, and also features a more rounded tire bed, which adds a touch extra suspension for a plusher ride.
Under Mavic’s WTS model, it comes mounted with Mavic Crossmax Quest rubber with a much more durable rating so riders can shred a little longer between tire changes.
The Mavic Crossmax XL WTS is in stock now, available in all three wheel sizes, and priced at $1,000 a pair. It’s compatible with all axle types and the set weighs in at 3,150 grams.
