Van Dessel Sports showed off their stealthy, versatile Full Tilt Boogie cyclocross bike on the desert crust of Interbike’s Outdoor Demo in Bootleg Canyon this week. The sleek, 1,040-gram (2.29-pound) ‘crosser comes as a disc brake-only frameset ($1,799) and features cable ports for the internal routing of Shimano Di2 electronic shifting, or externally-routed mechanical shifting. Its rear dropouts are interchangeable to accommodate either a quick release or thru-axle, and the fork can be ordered in either of those configurations as well. The frame can accommodate tires up to 40mm wide.

The build we photographed weighed 17.5-pounds and included a SRAM Force CX1 1×11 drivetrain, SRAM Force hydraulic brakes, an Easton EA 70 disc wheelset, and an FSA SLK bar and stem combo. Van Dessel offers the Full Tilt Boogie as a frameset only, or in one of several build kits.
